Arauz gets 10 fashion points and 1 bunting point.

Actually not a bad idea; he was bunting for a hit there but needed to get it more at the 2nd baseman. If he does that he’s got an easy hit.

I think it was a sacrifice bunt gone bad.

It is pretty obvious the Sox lack what used to be called the fundamentals. Like bunting.

Inability to bunt applies to 99% of players who are not pitchers in the NL.

He didn’t seem to square up like a sac, but you could be right. Remy’s insight would have been nice to have there.

Oh here it comes, Richards with a 2 run lead, and 24 outs to go. Looks like some of the hitters got a little mojo today

Horrible at bat by Renfroe. Still, 3 big runs, enough to allow Cora to axe Richards if he continues to be worthless in the 2d inning.

One would think that weak batters would be more proficient at bunting. Not all weak batters in MLB are pitchers. The SOX have more than their share of proof regarding that.

Cleaning inning for Richards!! Right after he throws is first curve of the day (on his 26th pitch), a fastball for a slow ground ball to SS.

If they are never called upon to learn how in the minors, it’s hard to learn in the majors. Snd the modern analytics say the sac is a bad play. Learning to hunt for base hits would be a boon to some of them though.

Even the weakest MLB hitter was better than anyone else around growing up.

Suddenly the Jays outfield seems to making a bunch of bad throws--which, however, the Sox have not been able to capitalize on.
