C'mon, MAX. You don't have to defend Cora all the time. He's not god; at least I don't think he is. Is there like a Cora Cult out there?

 

Actually, I'm more than happy to criticize Cora on his use of the bullpen. But this time I thought it absolutely was the right call. And so did Pivetta.

 

We are now thru 8 innings, and in my opinion--which, granted, ain't worth that much--Cora's handling of the Sox pitching in this game has been masterful.

It's alwasy been the story with Barnes, too much reliance on his curve early in the count instead of it being his outpitch.
