Line-up not looking so much like Dolly Parton now.

Strange how you used that. Most of time saying something looks like Dolly would be a good thing. It confuses me.

Naw, this is what the SOX do when E-rod starts. Hardly ever fails.

Yeah, you are right.

It’s E-Rod’s vs BAL mojo.

I was referring to my earlier post where I mentioned the SOX line-up was top heavy.

Seems like the 7th inning, is only the 4th. If Harver pitches a couple more innings the Sox will score runs.

Yeah didn’t realize the pitch count.

It actually works no matter who he starts against. One of the main reasons the SOX have such an awesome W/L record when he starts.

Wash 11

N.Y.Y. 4

Lmao!!

They always seem to stay out of our game day threads when they are losing. It’s quite hilarious

Someone mentioned yesterday that Dalbec was 25. I just checked; he's 25. He definitely needs to get it rolling this year. You get old early in baseball.

Damn, Dalbec's older than Devers.

Young elite talent at 25 these days are in their prime. Crazy how kids develop these days.

IMO Bobby will need a couple of years more playing every day to enter to his prime.

I get it.

We are still waiting to see this Dolly's like squads lower half and see if it is as good as it can be and perform as well as expected. I hope it's amazing.

I can't even imagine a manager trying to take Bob Gibson out of a game because he threw 100 pitches. The manager would get his what for and Bob would still be on the mound.

I think it was 1968 when Gibson was never taken out of a game from the mound. The only time he came out all season was for a pinch hitter. Otherwise, it was all complete games.

Gibby was mean and lean.

When the opposing pitchers look at the SOX line-up, there's no question in my mind that Devers scares them more than anyone.

Because he can hit anything they throw near the plate.
