Another series another day. Let’s get a W folks

Also, has anyone seen the Rangers first baseman do the splits. Man he’s amazing. He’s undergoing season ending knee surgery though. Sad :(

Anyway

I'll put this here as well, just for fun:

With last night's win, we are 16-9. 7 games over .500 is our high point of the season, surpassing where we were at the end of the 9 game win streak (9-3).

We are tied with the Royals, Dodgers, and Giants for best record in baseball, but Kansas City, at 15-8, has the better win % than the other 3.

This weekend, we head to Texas to play in the brand new Globe Life Field for the first time, against the Rangers for 4. The Rangers, at 10-15, are going through a rebuild. Their offense has been flashy at times. Joey Gallo has actually not been a part of the equation, off to a cold start at the plate, hitting down near .200 with only 2 HRs. Nick Solak and Nate Lowe are having breakout seasons at the dish. Solak is well above .300 with 7 HR, while Lowe was tied for the league lead in RBI at 21 entering last night. Pitching remains a concern for Texas. Tonight's starter, Kyle Gibson, gave up 5 runs to Kansas City in the 1st inning on Opening Day, but has looked stellar since then, coming in at 2-0 with a 2.30 ERA. The other three starters this weekend, Kohei Arihara, Jordan Lyles, and Mike Foltynewicz, respectively, all have significantly worse pitching numbers thus far. All 4 starters the Sox will face in this series are also righties.

Well said!!!! Let’s get a series win! This has been fun so far.

This is the only game of the series where the Texas Rangers have a real shot to win (if any) given the pitching match up. Gibson has a better track record than Perez facing each other lineups respectively.

Said that, batts need to show up tonight if we want to win.

Go Sox!

What a crazy day. Rodgers doesn’t want to go back to the Packers. I ate spicy food and didn’t get sick. Weird day.

Sox had to fly from NYC to Dallas after last night's game, so they could be tired.

And the Rangers finally have a retractable roof--real grass and AC on the hot days, and dry field&fans on rainy ones.

Been watching the Yankems/O's game and was surprised to learn how many large muscles an albatross possessed. Here's hoping Stanton continues to decline and becomes the Chris Davis of the Yankems.

A 3 game streak is nice, but a 4 game streak is even nicer. Keep it up, TylerD!

Rangers hitting and pitching to date are both subpar. Rangers are 4-8 in Arlington and the Sox 8-1 on the road.

However, Kyle Gibson has an ERA of 2.30, 4 quality starts in 5 starts and held the White Sox to 1 run in 6 innings in his last start and the Orioles to 0 runs in 8 innings the start before that. Our guy Perez, on the other hand, has thus far been a stumblebum.

Watching the game as well and sincerely IMO these Yankees are the worst version I’ve ever seen I can remember. They are horrible.

My longest winning streak since going back to our 2018 World Series year lol.

Ham and pineapple pizza on the menu for tonight’s game.

Pizza night is Friday for me so tomorrow I will be munching on some vegan pizza as I listen to the game. It's just sauce and veggies. Not too bad if you make it yourself
