Good news today game 1: eovaldi is a beast. Zero walks. Arroyo two knocks.

Bad news today game 1: 3 for 18 with runners in scoring position.

A win when most things go wrong may be more impressive than when most things go right.

They all count the same in the end

It’s almost getting silly. And I am enjoying it.

Soon I will have to change my 90 loss prediction.

Will you be enjoying your lunch during tomorrow's game with a side of crow?

I'm kidding of course. My expectations for this team were modest as well, but that doesn't mean I wasn't going to enjoy all 162

about +8 and +3 C respectively

I was kidding but Thanks man

geez That's really cold, mostly for a guy like me who lives in a City which is most of the times around 25 C

Not yet, but it looks like I could be dining on it soon.

I couldn't even make a prediction before the season started Ted. Geez I saw a lot of IFs and question marks at the time (still), and after the first 3 games, I thought this was going to be a long season mostly because we played against arguably the worst team of the majors. It's crazy how this game changes from week to week.

It's way too early but I'm enjoying it a lot compadre.

I thought Talksox regulations prohibited floating predictions. ;)

It really is, and it has been so fun to watch. I will admit, I was one of those that thought we would stink to start the season. I don’t know how far this team can go like this, but I am enjoying the ride so far. You know the team is playing at such a high level when I was thinking if we lost this game tonight it wasn’t a big deal. This team has faced some very good pitching and we just keep scoring. The pitching and the scoring of this Team has truly been fun to watch

What a catch by Verdugo!

This team is coming through every time we need it.

It kind of reminds me of 2013, when many counted us out before the season even started.

I'm not predicting 2013 final results, but this team is, by far, not even close to the one we had, last year.

The 2019 team looked better on paper, in March, but don't count this team out.

I completely agree and I am head over heels in love with this team. The key will be if we can continue to win ugly games and/or one run games. Cora definitely has a lot to do with this clubhouse mojo and vibes. I will be the first to admit that I did not want him back, but I am sure glad he is here now. I will gladly admit when I am wrong. Game 2 today I felt was the closest we've come to playing a complete game. Everything looked solid in game 2: offense, defense, and pitching. But, game 1 was probably huge for this team's psyche, because it showed them that they can still find a way to win when they leave 12 men on over 7 innings. If they keep having this much fun, they'll keep winning games. But not every game, of course...

Funny you say that moon, I was just saying that to my spouse today. This team reminds me of both years because people counted us out including me before the season even started which reminds me of 2013. But the way this offence is hitting reminds me of our 2018 team. We just seem to be doing everything right. It’s scary to think, if the bats showed up in that first series against Baltimore we would have an undefeated Record right now. I know that is what if’s and could ifs But this team just seems so incredible right now. I thought the minnesota Series would be split as they are a very good hitting team, and we have just been so much better than them. Definitely been fun to watch in the early going

I'm pretty sure this team will go through some hard times and maybe even some very hard times, at some point or even multiple points of the upcoming season- maybe enough to keep this from being an extra special one, but win or lose, I'm liking what I'm seeing from this team, the upgraded 40 man roster and the farm. I've always been big on Cora, and this seems like "his team." The team also is showing the work of Bloom. Last year, we had our doubts about his "magic touch" on finding bargain basement over-achievers, but it looks like he just needed a little more time.

Okay, okay, guys like Kike, Richards, Ottavino, Renfroe and Marwin have yet to come through, and they were pretty much his biggest pick-ups, but if they do, watch out!

I'm also expecting more from Dalbec, and maybe we'll end up seeing more good from Houck. Then, there's a chance we may get something from Duran, Downs, Arauz, Munoz, Seabold and others.

The under-the-radar guys are carrying us, at times, although JD has been THE MAN!

Pivetta

Whitlock

Sawamura

Andriese

Cordero

Arroyo

These guys are pulling together, early. After losing 3 at home to the lowly O's, there could have been a horrible direction taken. JD nearly single-handedly pulled the team out of it, and we have yet to look back.

Let's ride the Mad Max Mojo train, boys! This is getting very interesting not just exciting.
