I hope they go to a fifth game and the Rays pull the win; if not, at least the Astros will be forced to use Greinke for game 1st in the ALCS.

Glasnow vs Cole, this should be fun to watch a pitchers match

 

Glasnow was injured for most of the season but he had a terrific season in fact he beats Cole almost in every category (with a far smaller sample only 60IP)

TB let Glasnow stay out there too long in game 1. If I was Cash, I would give Glasnow 60 pitches before having him go batter to batter. You cannot let this game get ahead of you. Cole is on full rest and is coming off a historic performance. You gotta go 0 for 0 with him and hope someone can connect and your pen can lock the Stros down

Yup! Tampa has zero chance at beating the Yanks. In fact Houston is the only team left in my opinion that has a chance. Cards and Nats would get destroyed too.

I would be cool with this, and if the Rays could play anyone other than the Yanks I think they would have a good chance, however since the Yanks are their kryptonite. I just don't see how they past them.

 

In the 19 games Tampa has played against the yanks this year. Yankees have won 12 of those games and have out scored Tampa 96 to 56. Honestly, I don't even think Tampa makes it a series. Likely a sweep and at most maybe they win one game.

FWIW the Rays did take the last 2 from the Yanks in September, although the Yanks were on cruise control at that point.

 

I wouldn't count out the Rays if they do make it. They have an amazing knack of playing a lot better than they look. There is definitely some good game planning and coaching going on there.

Thank God the Thursday night NFL game is a dud, won't have to worry about flipping back and forth. Pats win 200, Giants 3.
