7 run rule. Put Sale, Price and ERod in a hyperbaric chamber until February 15th. Throw the bullpen until their arms fall off and then release them and start over next season with a new pen.

 

I will third that since Vegas beat me to it. This is a guy we owe millions of $$$$ to. You don't leave him out there till his arm falls off. Toss garbage out there. We have plenty of that to go around. The season is over. Heck it was over a month ago and the body was buried on trade deadline day.

And you will see Houston kick the Yankees ass unless someone else does it first. If you ain't first you are last. But if that happens, you won't be around. Just like last year when the Sox kicked the Yankees ass all year and in the playoffs.

Yes, it still sucks and you know it. No where to hide it in the playoffs. Anyone can beat the Sox now. That is no big feat.

Our rotation might get a leash of a single run before we unleash the pen. Boone isn't making the same mistake he did last year or he won't be managing 2020

The cool thing about this season is you will get to see the Yankees play in the playoffs and the sox swinging on the links
I am actually ok with the Sox not in the playoffs. I need a year off after last year. It was nerve wracking watching them win the World Series. Between the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics, I have seen plenty of championships recently, unlike other cities and fans.

You know, I truly HATE the Yankee organization. If they went 0-162 it wouldn't be good enough.

 

That said, none of their players are worthy of hate or disrespect. In fact, with the number of injuries they had this year I think that they have a tremendous season, one worthy of respect. They have stepped up and done the job this year and haven't used injuries as an excuse. Yes, our guys have given up and, in fact, they never really showed up this season-but you have to tip your cap the the Yankee team this year...and still hate them.

You call me a troll yet you're okay with your team not making the playoffs? I am never okay with my team missing the playoffs. Ever. I can come to grips with it, but I am never okay with it. Especially when your team is about to get swept by the Yanks and be non-competitive by early August

My life is not defined by the Red Sox. I love them and I was named after Ted Williams but they don't have to win the World Series every year or make the playoffs every year for me to be able to get up every day.

You won't miss seeing him at bat 500 times a season. It's torture seeing somebody struggling to hit only since 2013.

I am not going to miss any part of him. Every time I see him in CF all I can think about is that he is so incredibly pathetic with a bat in his hands.

I am not saying it should make you depressed, but I will never rationalize their lack of success to help my anxiety. I expect the Yanks to be in it year in and year out. They're not gonna win it every year. Heck, they haven't won it in 10, but I'd expect competitive baseball, especially as defending champs
