Terrifying to think that you can spend this much in payroll and have a team play this poorly. $90M of it is for SP....if you can believe that. If it were not for the carnival Henry runs down there at Fenway and the dedicated NESN fan base, that $240 odd Million in payroll would be looking pretty scary.

 

That element of this mess sort of makes the "hard to repeat" argument hard to take. They are just stinking up the place, never mind repeating.
