Looks like a VG switch hitter, Especially left. Where are they going ti find room? Cora is Nunez friendly, but I think room has to be made somewhere for this young man.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing Hernanz as the DH here once in awhile.

Cora certainly has a thing with Nunez. Holt or Hernandez can be hot as hell, but Nunez will start the next game.

March 2, 1943, Armory on Commonwealth Ave. The Colonel says, "Do you want to go?". I said Yes, he asked WHY? I saod because everybody else is going, He said, "You're in"

 

I would have missed 9 months at BC, a year in China and 2 years in Germany. And I met Hank Greenburg in a mess hall in Kunming!!!!

Yes, it is probably his best defensive position.

 

He's probably better on defense than Holt, and I feel he is clearly better than Nunez.

Let him, Chatham and Lin fight it out. (Maybe Chavis plays some 2B when not at 1B.)

 

Teenie tiny sample size, but his OPS is now at .933.

Yes, I consider him as the front runner. Chavis at 1B.

 

With our financial situation, we can live with Vaz, Devers, Xander, Marcos and Chavis.

 

Pablo's money will be eaten up by new contracts to Xander and Sale.

 

I'd bring back Holt because of his versatility.

 

Moreland, Pearce and Nunez will save almost $18M. That money will be used to pay for arbitration raises.

 

We'll see what we do with $22M coming off the books for Porcello. Maybe use half for a closer and other half for a fifth starter.

Could Marco be our 2020 second baseman?

 

In a very small sample, Marco has made it very difficult for anyone not to like him. He's had a tough time with injuries. It would be nice to see him be able to stick and contribute to the team.
