Looked like he's smiling, after he f***ed up.

I do think he is developmentally challenged. Nobody could resist changing his ways for as long as he has intentionally

A shutout pitching effort by Erod will assure the win tonight. I do think the Sox need to sweep this series and go 5-1 prior to A-S game. Still 2.5 out of the second WC slot with a difficult upcoming schedule during post A-S July. 12 of 19 games vs Dodgers, Rays, Yankees.

The Dodgers are winning games even when they don't want to. Five straight walks vS the D'Backs to walk it off a few nights ago.

It may actually be their year.. then again, they've been good for a decade and have nothing to show for it.

Having ckecked Kirk on the internet I discovered he is fighting Parkinson's. I wish him the best and I should have known this before I criticized his announcing.
I thought he had MS. Either one is very tough.

Perhaps if you were not yukking it up in the dugout before your start with a guy that is not even playing tonight Erod, you might have been focused enough to get your tail to 1st base in time. Unbelievable.

Cabrera still hitting .300+ , but must be a lot of singles. Looks pretty beefy, a la Panda

In Panda's prime.. it would eat Cabrera and ask for the main course. The Panda was in it's own league.

I am just amazed. Everybody in baseball has got to know by now that the literal only pitch Chavis can hit is a meatball slider and this LH goon tests himself by throwing.......sliders. Just throw any old above the belt FB IDIOT!

They simply can't throw worth s***. Its like they can't help but eventually give him something he is going to tag.

Actually.. I'll throw CC in there too. He looks like he could still give Joey "Jaws" a run for his hot dog eating money.

Bamboos has little nutritional value so Panda is seeking something to sustain him better.

The definition of an athlete that I like is a person who can play more than one sport at an extremely high level. Using that definition, I would consider Kirk Gibson and Bo Jackson two of the finest athletes I have had the pleasure to watch.

Gibson had one of the scariest game faces of any athlete that I have seen.

Before his injuries Gibson was very fast on the bases along with his power. Similar to Mantle before Mantle's leg injury.

Which is exactly what happens when opposing pitchers just let Rafi dive across the batter's box like that. I have yet to see a single pitcher drive Rafi back when he dives across which he does every swing. They are letting him cover the entire plate and then some which is something no pitcher would ever allow all the way up through the 1990's.

I am not convinced baseball survives the rocket ship and the lack of even middling pitching. Time for a new name for whatever this game is they are playing now. Manfred-ball.

Primetime was pretty good also. In the 50's thSox and Celtics shared Gene Conley ( I think), but he wasn't all world like the other ones named.

It is amazing when you see one guy get on a streak of good hitting and they can bat about .500 with power for a couple weeks ,. Then you have the opposite where some can't buy a hit for weeks. That's baseball, where an All-Star fails 70% of the time.
