I think it’s just in his head right now and he’s just trying to hard and forgetting the basics. He will break out of it. But it’s frustrating to watch. This pitcher is also very good however.

Yes it's very frustrating but he's talented. I'd hate to think it's an effort issue because he is very talented and I don't see why he can't be consistent year to year. up down up down. Annoying.

Unfortunately I’m starting to agree with this I thought he was going to be the next great thing but this year is a totally different story. I still think he is a hell of a player but don’t want to pay big money to a player who is this inconsistent.

 

Then again I want to sign Porcello and lots don’t so it’s opinion based. But Mookie has been a total let down. If it’s a slump that’s fine but a slump means the player comes out of it. I’m still waiting for this for Mookie.
