Looks like it will be rained out. Thunderstorms all night.

Not what my NOAA map shows. There's stuff west of Reading, PA, but I don't know how fast it's moving.

How about a 4 day rainout, with a marathon quadruple header on Monday (off day) to see once and for all if baseball is a sprint or a marathon ? Let's see who has the will to win. Teams allowed to dress out the entire 40 man roster. It would be epic. Oh, and no umpires. Batters call their pitches and fielder's call their outs, all subject to 24 replay opportunities by eacj manager.

You forgot to mention that lefty and righty hitters are allowed to bat at the same time.

Good to see JBJ get his off field stroke going , with his OPS now up to .600 after being mired in the .400s all season.

Sorry, that's TWO confusing. Each pitch could be both a ball and a strike, validating the principles of quantum mechanics.

Game has been postponed and will be made up on August 3rd as part of a doubleheader.

This definitely benefits the Yankees since now they won't need to have an opener/bullpen game.

Heard they reschedule this for 8/3

Nunez, Pearce hopefully are either better by then or release them

Pearce has shown signs of improving. Nunez has sucked for quite a while- going back to last year.

Pearce:

1.014 over last 7 games

.813 over last 11 games

.750 last 365 days

Nunez:

.662 the last 365 days (I'll take a GG JBJ at .600 over a poor fielding .662 infielder.)

Yup, Yankees are still scared of the Red Sox.

Prayers to the young child hit Last night in Houston .As for our team I have no more visions about playoffs .I don't think we have a shot in hell playing Houston on the road unless wholesale changes are made .I take no joy in beating the Yankees knowing its fruitless.Demoralized fan here .

Hang in there, get to the WC game first. Didn't Erod and boys just beat Verlander and the Astros ? Anything can happen in a one game play-in. It's more about what do you do next.

The Gods have spoken. One more day to reflect (and for Sale's left arm!). It couldn't have come at a better time!!!

Go raptors!!

I'm with you, but the powers to be will never allow the Warriors to lose- (not like they would without the league's help).

Agreed. I always said the Warriors and the refs are tough to beat.

Well we were about halfway there on the train, and had to turn around. Waste of a train ticket, and I can't even go to the make up game, but we stopped at CT's best pizza joint for lunch on the way down, so it was worthwhile

Sausage and onion. Never seen pieces of sausage that big on a pizza. This little Italian boy felt right at home

Thunder that's great !! Glad you have that memory .

Well, it could've been a better memory haha. I can't go to the makeup on August 3rd. That's my first week back at school with the football team

I hope that kid is alright also. I felt bad for Almora also, he was clearly shaken up by what happened, and it obviously wasn't his fault.

YES!

Going up 2-0 is essential.

Siakam is a beast!

Man I couldn’t believe how good he played. Looked like a modern day Pippen! Hope they get game 2!
