Should have been out of the 1st with no runs scored and this inning’s run was a ground ball single, a stolen base, a bunt and an infield chopper. He’s not as sharp as he can be but other than Lindor (who can hit anybody), no one has hit the ball hard on him. He’s pitched better than the results today.

I jus dont don’t see many other teams take off when the pitcher still has the ball. Red Sox have done it 3-4 times this week. Wasn’t saying it was bad, just weird to see so often

In defense of the Guardians .500 record they do have 80% of their starting staff on the IL.

Chavis is a young hitter, they often go though hot and cold streaks. Just be patient with him, he'll be fine.

 

He will be some year, maybe. He has the added disadvantage of swinging out of his shoelaces every swing and we of course encourage him to do so.

 

Devers swings hard. But not out of his shoelaces.
