In every start it seems like he gives one up.

He’s solid and gives us 6 plus innings but unfortunately you can usually count on him giving up at least one dinger per start. He did even in his CY young season. Not every game but did a fair amount if I recall. As long as the Sox bats remotely show up it should be fine

Leon definitely deserves to bat behind JBJ. Cannot say that about too many batters in MLB.

As for Beni keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed.

Benentendi, with lower power #'s this year looks a lot more like a #6 or #7 hitter than leadoff. A .420 SLG % is low among the top 6 or 7 RS regulars and the .355 OBP is about the same.

Because Betts failed so miserably as a lead-off hitter last year, King Kora felt a change was needed.

Porcello has pitched on heckuva game. 1 run in 6 innings and when we needed it.

Meanwhile the lineup is just so-so.

Getting the Toronto feed and they've shown that Vlad HR about 20 times already. But, then, what else do they have?

I would love the Toronto feed. Dan Shulman is one of my favorite voices in sports

The killer instinct has been missing most of this season. Scoring key runs late in the game, without HR's. Glad to get the one more , but it was time for a 2 or 3 run double right there

It's mind boggling to think any team could have pitching so bad to allow this Toronto team to score 10 runs.

Remember that BS game in our home opener? They had 8 runs, most of them coming off small ball and groundballs through the infield

I don't think Rick P will be happy to be pulled after 6 and 80 pitches, from his personal perspective. AC is looking to nail the win and avoid the late Porcello ball.

Rick may not be the Ace of the SOX starting staff, but he's definitely the Iron Man. Good job by him tonight.

Definitely so. Deserves a win here and the team needs it.

7th inning hasn't been kind to most SOX starters.

Always amazed at 2 out hitting. Workman gets 2 outs and a 1-2 count on Galvis with just 9 pitches. Now 2nd and 3rd after another 2 strike count, still 2 out. Workman turns it into a pressure situation. Now a 4 pitch walk to load the bases. When a reliever gets up to 20 or more pitches, really bad things happen.
