He has no clue Rico. Totally lost. As are a few others holding a bat this season. The team could carry maybe 2 guys at .200 level, but not 4 or 5 . Recheck these fellows at the end of May to give change a chance.

 

Yeah, all we can hope is that he can snap out of it. So far though it's just incredibly frustrating. I'd rather he just not say anything than to come out and say he has to play better to help the team cause we all know that. Right now he's just one of those guys who just talks but doesn't back it up.

This is about as good a start as we can expect from Nat I think. Kept out of the middle of the plate for most of the game. Put that split finger in his pocket for the night thank God. That was doing nothing. But this is a good start for him.

 

So on average it has taken the Sox rotation 4 turns through to start to get rolling. That is about right for a ST.

Great start from Happ. The 3 runs hurt, but the 2 run homer was a good pitch hit to the cheap part of the park. After that, he was basically unhittable. Good to see. Eovaldi has outpitched him to this point

When Vaz is our hitting star, you know the offense is struggling. But if Vaz played here, he would love it. He would not be tempted by the Green Monster which is not a great way for him to go. He could dink his way to RF through an entire career.
