And both games that this team has won were in the very last inning. They could be winless right now.

And both were somewhat flukes, with a PH 3 runner by Moreland in the 9th, and Betts' 3B bag bounce. They could easily be winless.

Well 7-3 and showing absolutely zero life. Can't honestly remember a time we had this much talent and looked so god damn bad. Beyond pathetic.

I can! 2 or 3 times in the last five or six years.

I feel like this is my fault lol, I kept telling my gf these games are meaningless this early in the season.... Little did I actually realize we would already be behind the division winner by 3 or 4 games and dead last in the entire league. With nearly the same team that won us a World Series last season.

Well, Hembree is coming in.

Yea Mookie was clearly showing some frustration on his way back to the dugout after his K. That sort of visible frustration usually does not yield anything but a capitulation before the end of the game in a game of this type. It does not usually suggest guys getting fired up.

The offense (granted they haven't really done s*** lately) has to be frustrated with the pitching. Outside of Sale's one start it's been disgusting. Doesn't even give us a chance to win the game. Needing 7 runs nearly every night to win a game is a lot to ask of the offense.

Against decent teams on the road.

Starting 2-6 and basically have the same team as last year that we won the World Series with is pathetic regardless who we play. And Oakland is decent but not great. Not an excuse for this team.

Oakland may not be great, but they get a lot of bang for the buck.

JBJ is obviously a great athlete. But there is nothing about that swing from set-up to follow-through that explains how he ever managed those few hot streaks in his career. He doesn't need an 'adjustment'; he needs a major overhaul--e.g., a change to Hriniak style? It's hard to imagine a worse swing than he has (well, except when he tried the toe-tap thing that I recall pretty much ruined Daniel Nava's career.)

Yes..... yes they do. It’s actually very impressive.

Mitch Moreland’s three-run homer inflicted the only loss in Seattle’s first eight games (including two games against these Athletics).
