I didn’t hear anyone say that a couple years ago when I predicted Teddy Stankiewicz would break out...

I just think he'll end the year at AA. Maybe part time call up in 2020 if everything works out perfectly. He'd be the perfect 4th OF at the very least.

 

 

The Sox need some starters. Getting bench players isn’t a big deal.

 

I think Cole Sturgeon would be a great fourth outfielder, but no one gets excited about him...

Yeah but I gave higher hopes for Duran. He probably won’t be ready to step in for Bradley right away, but maybe after a one year stopgap CF. Castillo, with one year left after this season, might actually have a shot here...

Another guy to watch is J.Duran, perhaps he is the guy who replaces Jackie Bradley Jr. One thing for certain: the Red Sox aren't going to resign Jackie Bradley Jr, the value just isn't there.

Ockimey has an OPS of .973- Centeno .915.

 

Chavis is now at .954.

 

Portland goes down 7-0 after 3 innings and wins!

 

Chatham goes 3 for 6

Curcio goes 4 for 5 with a homer.

If a guy is universally panned as a defensive 3b, what makes you think he will be passable at 2b? This is like the Brewers trying to use Shaw at 2b to disastrous results. Or us moving Andujar to 2b.
