Well looking on the bright side, Buehler is not overpowering anybody. On the not so bright side, that was just a ridiculously stupid base running play by Bradley and JD really does look gimpy.

Good to see that Joe West's exhibition of how to call Balls and strikes did not rub off on this dildo ump. It's one thing if the ball might go over the outside front corner of the plate, but to miss entirely is inexcusable. At least the NFL fired one of their weak line judges. Referee's Assoc immediately files a grievance, of course.

Bradley's play probably made VAZ reluctant to take any chances. Remind me when Betts becomes MVP of the regular season. May have forgotten by then.

 

Really there were two baserunning mistakes in the inning. The first was JBJ leaving early and the second was Vaz not running hard to first which would have given him a double. It probably cost us a run between the two. We had a similar case in a prior game when Beni didn't run hard to first which cost him a base. Guys, run hard to first and see what happens.

I disagree. JBJ looked horrible on that stupid steal, but it's obvious to me Buehler is way better than Porcello, and the score is just 1-0. This could be a whole lot worse.
