Sale was fantastic against the Yankees. And he’s settling down now. Not a great game for Sale but against these Houston hitters. If he makes 5 innings only giving up 2 runs. That’s actually not a horrible night for Sale. Still gives us a chance to win. But we suck offensively. So we will. See

Take a number 1 weapon away from a pitcher and he is going to struggle no matter what you do because he has to pitch around that hole in his game. Sale can do it. But he has to have something to do it with. Hitting better spots with breaking pitches this inning. If he can keep doing that, he stands a chance of staying in this game at least to 90-100 pitches.

 

We need to get some runs off Verlander who is just toying with us at the moment.

 

Also, not sure what will happen to Sale when he gets back to the top of their order again.
