Sorta' wonder why pitchers don't avail themselves of the opportunity to avoid throwing to 1st going uphill on the mound like that. Would not have taken much for Rodon to have avoided the mound altogether on that.

You are right with that. Missed a high zone strike that could have been a flyball and then chopped a sure , non run scoring out to Rodon who blew himself up big time, good for us. Beni has some work to do.

Cora is pushing Brasier to multiple appearances in a row as well which is exactly what you need to see for the post season. There won't be this cast of thousands approach to a bullpen in the post season. Same guys will be called on over and over again.

What Brasier is doing based on where the SOX found him doesn't happen too often in this game. Kudos to whomever scouted him.
