Our pitchers have the serial killer deep stare and the Rays throwers are all Boy Scouts, just learning to shave.

Wonder if JBJ hurt himself on that dive last night. It looked like he was uncomfortable when he got up......or maybe Cora is going to try to get each of the OFers off that turf for one of these three games.....Beni to come last.

The Red Sox are 0-4 and have been outscored 35-7 over the past 2 seasons during Ugly Uni Weekend.

It's time to put an end to that nonsense, both the losing and the ugly unis.

WIN!!!

Another ugly trend is the team's runs scored in games in the TropDump this year:

4

3

2

Total 24 in 8 games - 3.0 per game

Lyons...."we have seen a lot of Beni just not hitting meatballs lately". Well just why do you think that is Stevie? Beni's swing is gotten too big AGAIN and his hands ar outside the baseball AGAIN!

I now understand Mookie's recent slump. He is trying to get his new BFF J.D. the triple crown. He is only a couple points in avg. now.

Hate to repeat myself. Mookie is swinging a tired bat.

What a second half by X. I refuse to call this year's ASB the end of the 1st half. Too late in the year. X has been nuts in the second half. THANK GOD

Maybe. But he is pulling pitches a foot off the plate for pop ups and ground balls softly put in play.

He is not a pull hitter. When mookie is being mookie, he simply hits the ball where its pitched. Pitches in the inner half tend to go over the fence. Pitches on the outer half tend to get hit hard somewhere. But hitting the ball where its pitched not only takes a tremendous amount of talent, you better be at your absolute peak physically from the tip of your toes to the top of your head. Does not appear he is at his physical peak at the moment and why would he be. You want to try to patrol our RF for a whole season and hit and steal bases. I wish you luck.

Porcello threw that pitch on the outside corner about 6-7 times that inning. Umpired called it a ball three times, and a strike the other three, and on the pitch zone, it was in almost exact same location each time. like WTF is this guy doing.

He isn't having a good approach. tired, everybody is in August. His approach sucks right now. He's not fighting off pitches.
