Are you really saying Sandy Leon is overrated? Who the hell is rating him very highly? He is a great defensive catcher, who the pitching staff likes and obviously a weak bat. I don't think anyone expects more of him.

Sure looks like two decisive victories for the Rays. Right now the Sox look like one of those great teams--see their record--with just two weaknesses: hitting and pitching. It would seem that lefties especially have our numbers.

The SOX were 50 games over .500 going into this game. They appear to be in a funk of late. Better now then in late September.

So I know Cora has got to keep trying Thorny. But he is so far not getting it done. Hembree, no, Workman no, Thorny no, Pom only to have a LHer, Valazquez for somebody to throw in to about anything, Barnes, Brasier, Kimbrel. Does not sound like much of a post season pen to me. Rotation has to come through in crunch time.
