I guess they start with Relief Starters in 1st 2 games, and we get Snell Sunday.

I look forward to the first two games.

imagine hearing this instead:

Vuvuzelas are less upsetting to me for some reason.

The fact that I was able to spell that correctly on the first try just shows how broken my brain really is.

Drums too, Cleveland, Oakland. My god this isn't a circus.

Velazquez ® vs. Castillo ®, who very likely will only go 1 or maybe 2 innings. Happ pitched 5 days ago and shut us down in Boston, so he will be the real starter and he's a lefty. So my guess is Cora will have at least five righty bats in the lineup tonight. Last Sunday it was Betts, Beni, Pearce, JDM, Bogey, Nunez, Holt (then Kinsler), Swihart, and Bradley. He might go with the same 9 tonight.

Tomorrow will likely be Yarborough, another lefty, who went 5.1 and gave up 0 last Monday.

Sunday probably Snell, another lefty.

I still wonder what happened to the guy who used to sit behind home plate and yell "Damon" for the entire game.

Actually we might not see a behind the plate road s*** show better than that kid in Houston trying to do the Kimbrel in an Astros jersey. In truth, the kid looked like an Astro's jersey hung on a cloths hanger.

Moovie first ever DH game.

Yes. If Cora is going to put JDM in RF he should do it in someone else's park.

Are you truly bothered that Mookie isn't in right?

More curious than bothered.

I just want to know why?

If it is to give Betts a little "rest", fine. If Betts has a minor injury, I get it. (I also get why the Sox might not want to tell the opps he is hurt.)

If it's about keeping JD happy with some OF play, I'd be kinda-sorta bothered.

I would definitely go with the rest explanation. I believe Cora said something early in the year about the artificial turf factor too.

Rest is the most logical option. I would want JD less on that turf than Mookie though they might split the time there. Not good for either of them really.

Those Rays uniforms and caps are the only things uglier than the Trop itself. Oh yeah, and the Red Sox first inning hitters.

Why don't they throw a softball out there so everybody feels right at home.
