True, Moon, but when I say 49 games over .500, I'm talking about the beginning of this game. The way this BP has been going, I doubt the SOX will be 49 games over .500 on Sept. 30th. Right now, Bra man and Kimbrel can give me a check, the rest of this pen has to pay cash.

11 BP HR's allowed over last 26 games plus tonight? I think Hembree leads with 3. During the same period, starters have given up 20, led by Porcello with 8 and Johnson with 6. Joe Kelly = 0 HR's last 12 games, Brasier =0 last 11 games. Edited August 23, 2018 by vegasbob

Post A-S game the worst pitching WHIP on team is Pomeranz at 1.72. Second worst--Kimbrel at 1.55, , closely followed by Joe Kelly at 1.54. Brasier ?? Try 0.77

OB says RS bullpen has allowed the fewest HR's per 9 innings in the AL. Tells you a lot about the first half vs second half and how bad pitching is across the spectrum or is it just the year of the HR ??

You know as well as me that all hitters, even the great ones, go thru a slump during the long season. JD's in a little slump as is Betts.
