Like many here I have watched and followed this franchise from Yawkey to Henry, and it is the first time that I assume they will prevail no matter the score or situation. For the younger crowd, enjoy what you are seeing. It is rare and special. A real teram that picks each other up, and damn the individual stats.

Well said, and you know, I mentioned all 25 players, when in actuality, it's been more like 30-33.

Slasher at game mojo still intact.

and it was MY kind of game. a 2-1 pitchers duel. porcello was absolutely FILTHY. even the curveball that got launched was just a really good piece of hitting. i didnt even end up getting a god damn cheesesteak because porcello had the perfect game going into the 5th and we werent gonna f*** with that mojo. beers only.

i will 100% admit when Holt was coming up to bat i turned to my son and buddies and wondered why my boy JBj wasnt pinch hitting. Holt/Cora shut me up pretty damn fast. that was a f***ing rocket.

jasonbay - you should have pm'd me. would have loved to buy you a beer.

Not sure Kelly is an 8th inning guy right now. He looked like one at the start of the season, but not anymore.

Agree Porcello was amazing. He has a pretty good repertoire--even without the big fastball-- and is tough when he has control of them.

Although Porcello has the highest ERA among our regular starters, he is the only won with a reasonable chance of getting to 20 wins, which is more of a team success than the pitcher alone. That's why Chris Sale isn't about 16-2 already. Sale and Porcello (when he's on ) make for a good duo in a 5 game playoff series.

Brasier is working his way into that role, per Cora.

Glad you and JBay got to see a great game.

He had some decent velocity last night. Hit 93 a couple of times. It’s all about the movement on his pitches and not leaving the ball at the center of the plate.
