My lineup for today:

Betts RF

Benintendi LF

Moreland 1b

Martinez DH

Bogaerts SS

Bradley CF

Nunez 3B

Randa 2B

Butler C

You have to give Leon a day off, can't wear him out. Since Brock Holt has like 1 hit in his last 300 at bats, the guy is obviously desperate for a day off.

Johnson pitched games are always fun to watch. He has to work so hard to get outs,

I saw him throw a couple of fastballs over 90 hitting 92.

Going against another young "newbie". Will they make him regret his chosen line of work or make him think he has an HoF future? Should be a good shot for Johnson to get a win.

Who is Randa?? Didn't he retire? Sorry, just recall he scored the winning run vs Yanks

Beginning to think the infield surface here in Rogers is getting to be more like it was before they made all those changes..maybe contributing to the number of DP's. Bounces are truer than you would expect on a turf field and the ball gets to the infielders pretty quick.

That was a s***** start.

It usually is. Actual Sox players often don't arrive until the 7th inning, then takes one or two to warm up. If they didn't use these imposters early, the league would have to ban them for being too good.

Johnson and Pomeranz are both LH'ers. They both throw slow teaser pitches. What's the difference in both reality and perception ? Johnson works quickly and throws strikes with his slop stuff (14 in first 20 pitches)

Mitch crushed that. No question Pearce has really helped Mitch by giving him days off and still being an effective hitter.

I think Mitch has lost some weight by the way. More through this season than last. So I really really have liked the Pearce move and would have liked it at half Pearce's production.
