Red Sox 1-6 today , lowest BA is Bogaerts .281, 3 guys over .300 . And of course our .300 utility player , Brock Holt, riding some pine.

 

By comparison, Beltre is at .296 for Texas, but the next highest BA in the lineup is .267 and it goes down from there. Some fans in other cities just have to grin and bear it

Kiner-Falefa kind of wore Ed out, but still no runs, however, 82 pitches through 4 innings. Good for one more try, maybe into the 6th if he shuts down Texas in the 5th.

Looks like another 5 inning start for E-rod. No rest for the pen when this guy starts. Btw, a quality start has to be at least 6 innings.
