Meanwhile Lester is 11-2 with a 2.25 ERA. #NENeverForgets

Yeah, I'll never get over letting him walk. Home grown ace that 'had it' and was as clutch as they come. Ice water veins. Maybe my favorite Sox player in the last 2+ decades.

His 3 run HR today hurt his cred either. Let's see ---big game, Price or Lester ??? Let me think

The nice thing about the mute function is that it not only silences the *******s in the booth, but it also silences the *******s in the stands. IOW, my mute does things that Price can't do, and at a lot less cost.

Lester was never returning after an insulting 4/70M offer after the 2013 world series.

From the same Front Office crew that signed Panda, and Hanley and Castillo and took Allen Craig in a trade, although the last one was hard to see .

Notice how Price improves once the pressure is off him . Another gutless thrower . Hated him when he was in Tampa and when the Sox signed him. It would be like being a Manny Machado fan.

The 3 Stooges in this booth almost makes me miss the 3 Stooges in the YES booth.
I would gladly listen to the YES broadcast instead of these dopes.

Farrell would explain that he didn't get his feet under him until the third inning and that he was challenged in getting outs in the first 2 innings.

Exactly. They should have never f*cked around when they had an Ace that proved he can play in Boston. Really hard way to learn that lesson. If the last decade with all the Crawford, Price, Agons, they better realize you have to be careful paying a player big bucks and putting pressure on a player coming from a organization that hasnt had success. If you have a proven player (Lester, Beltre, etc), you keep them, even if it means overpaying a little, cause odds are you wont get good return on the dollar going the cheaper route...

Ben offered him 4 years and $70 million. That was a slap inthe face-- pure and simple.

I believe Cherington cost us Lester, but you can bet the Lucchino and John Henry weighed in on that topic.

So here is our $30M X 7 = $210M arm that is just stinking up the joint. I am unable to replay the 1st inning which I missed, but I'll bet he threw very few pitches low in the zone because he likes 'em up in the zone for hitters' convenience.

Price now officially stinks. It is useful to have had ERod pitch game 1 and Sale game 2 to allow comparisons. Price is miles behind Sale, and, honestly, slightly behind ERod.

One good thing is this is a work night and I will get to bed at a decent time. Severino and Price together are making sure of that.

Unless he gets the Rays ,twins ,Os ,he s a number 5 starter .We will face the likes of Seattle ,Houston ,NYY ...Price will dominate Seattle and get obliterated by the other 2 .

Best case is Price pitches good against the rest of the league, opt out and maybe go to the West.

The west ???? Shhhhhhit I'd want the Yankees to get this pussy .

As I've said before, Price is a pitcher who can get you to the playoffs but don't depend on him being able to get you out the other side.

Yes it was. Still, Lester never came back with a counter, even an absurdly high one. His comments about “home town discount” were just words; he was going to free agency unless the Sox made a Stanton like contract offer.
