If the last decade with all the Crawford, Price, Agons, they better realize you have to be careful paying a player big bucks and putting pressure on a player coming from a organization that hasnt had success. If you have a proven player (Lester, Beltre, etc), you keep them, even if it means overpaying a little, cause odds are you wont get good return on the dollar going the cheaper route...
