The friendly banter between Betts and Hicks reminded me of the friendship between Fisk and Munson. Remember the days when the SOX and Yankems actually hated each other?

 

Kind of shows how the rivalry has changed. Now it is much more for the fans than it is for the players.

You can't put Beni in JD's category as a hitter. JD is closer to Manny than I thought he ever would be and Beni isn't close to that.

Stanton and Boone don't care for .....I like DIDi actually and Judge is just a great human .

I don't like Mookie getting chummy with Hicks.....the Red Sox players should dislike the Yankees as much as the Sox fans do.

Great game tonight. Been bummed out since Portugal lost in the World Cup to Uruguay. Makes me happy at least to see them come back.

I don't see a reason for it to be reviewed. Looks like Judge deflected it, hit the top of the wall, then stayed in play. Should be a double.

Andrew got a hit and an RBI tonight. He'll be fine.

 

Check Beni in a week and see if he is steady or slumping over the next several games. He, like JBJr, is streaky and I think the current trend is down. If I'm wrong, I'll buy him 2 bags of seeds.
