I love it when a real 1st baseman makes routine plays look routine !

Another example of why you just can't throw anyone over there. Those plays CAN make a difference, and they are not learned by talking a few grounders during infield.

I think I know the answer, but it would be interesting to bring the JK'er back for the 9th only because he was bringing it hard and can bean Cruz to lead off the 9th. But I'm sure we will need to endure Mr Kimbrel with too big a lead.

Devers needs to hit to LF more often instead of trying to pull everything. Fenway is made for LH hitters who can go the other way.

I agree and he's capable but enjoy this moment it's special tonight .

Yankees just lost.

And don't lose sight of that on a night the Sox went down 4-0 , then coughed it up to 10 after a partial comeback. One of the few times this team has rebounded to an early inning beatdown. Screw Matt LeBlanc and hit change of pace crap.

Kimbrel hasn't pitched since a week ago yesterday, he needs the work. Keeping Kelly in also means he wont; be available tomorrow.

The funny thing is that we were talking a couple pages ago about that Texas game, which was also a double-digit game for both teams that was started by a Red Sox knuckleballer who gave up 10 runs.

EDIT: I was wrong, I thought it was 10, it was only 8.

Lol Charlie Zink.. I think that was his first.. and last game for the Sox.

I am happy as a clam anytime the Sox win.

It's such a hard game .even being a fan can be frustrating for the best of baseball teams ,the game has so much failure and flashes of brilliance .The truth is we are blessed to be Redsox fans I lose sight of that .Tonight is why it's the best of all the sports in my opinion .

It’s normal to experience a range of feelings and moods. Sometimes you feel incredibly excited and happy, while other times you feel sad, anxious or outright miserable. Bipolar disorder (sometimes called manic depression) is a mental health condition where people experience extreme highs, called mania, and intense periods of sadness or depression. These phases of mania and depression are called episodes, and can shift rapidly. Some people may experience both at the same time. Along with changes in mood, people experience other symptoms that affect their energy, sleep habits and behavior.

Good point. I imagine O's fans are experiencing suicidal tendencies at this point. Fortunately, there aren't that many O's fans.

Keep in mind as a fan, you can affect nothing of what is going on, so try to enjoy it for what it is. Look in your mail tomorrow and chances are you won't find a check from Fenway Park rewarding you for your highly concerned fandom or advice. Great win tonight and Yankee loss, should make all concerned feel really good.
