My first game thread start.

 

I'll be at the game in the nose bleed section.

 

I hope my "mojo" gets some of those hard hit balls to fall in the right places and go over the fence.

 

I'll be wearing my David Ortiz jersey to the sea of orange, but there's always a sizeable Sox crowd on hand.

We got an excellent performance from beni last night with 2 for 3, a walk, a stolen base and a daring run to the plate for our second run. We missed Betts and maybe he will be in for this game. Moreland and jdm had off nights last night or we might have won. Hope they all come through as the pitching will be something to see.

Ladies and gentleman, Moon is just a Caveman.... He fell in some ice many years ago and later got thawed out by some of our scientists........

 

this message board frightens and confuses him. How game threads end up in the game thread area, he doesn't know. Maybe it's little people in the box they call the computer moving things around he might ask.

 

But there is one thing he does know, the people with the Red Stockings will pull out a win tonight by hitting the ball with the bat very well.

There is more to the Mookie injury than anyone has neen saying. His fans aren't children; we'd like to hear the truth!

Not sure we should expect the truth regarding Mookie. However at some point missing this many games in a row becomes an issue because at some point this is going to be more than Mookie just busting back into the lineup like he never left it. So his injury must be sufficient to allow the Sox to rationalize that keeping him out and the resultant time it will take for him to come back makes more sense than playing him with the injury.

 

And....as I am keying this post, just got the news, Mookie goes to the DL. Not sure how long but he is going to the DL.

We aren't entitled to the truth, if only for HIPAA reasons. Even baseball players are entitled to privacy as regards their medical condition.

10 day DL announced as a left abdominal strain for Mookie

I just heard that Mookie was put on the 10 day DL Retro to Tuesday. Abdominal strain.
