Here's my thing with this game, how is that interference, when Devers didn't stop Bregman from going to 3rd (he wasn't realistically going) or stop him from going back to 2nd? He was arguing with ump mid play like a complete moron, then got tagged out, well after the Devers "obstruction". Not sure how this is obstruction, but Devers/McCullers collision at 1B wasn't.

Love Betts but it seems they’re very dependent of him. This sorry ass lineup tonight hasn’t done its job tonight.

 

I always get excited when I see Swihart in the lineup, but he frequently disappoints me. Of course he's far from the only hitless wonder tonight.

Trust me, its obstruction. Its not the sandlot Rafi. What kills me is Rafi still actually does not know what he did wrong. Do they teach these kids anything, anything at all besides which end of the bat is the butt and which end the barrel?

It's still early yet, but it's obvious that Houston is the team to beat to achieve the title world champions.

 

Well the Yankees have made them their bitch this season and they played them tough last season in the ALCS. We need to play them like the Yankees have.

You can’t grab the runner. It doesn’t matter that he wouldn’t have advanced to third. You just cannot do that. Correct call by the umps.

You can't, but it literally had no impact whatsoever on the play. Bregman wouldn't of made third, and he was tagged out, by not paying attention, arguing a call mid play.

True, but tackling the runner is legal. Devers should have clotheslined him.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I believe Wright helps the SOX more in the BP than as a starter. Let the hate mail begin.

 

I like Wright in the pen, but I hate Pomeranz in the rotation right now. So I'm not sure how I feel.

You are allowed to block 1B though, and not allow the runner to touch 1B, and take him out if he tries though, that is perfectly legal.
