He needs to come out of this game while its still in reach....where is Johnson when we need him? :P

Like I said....yet he is STILL in there. Cora made a mistake.

I would bet $ this is babe from Florida

If so, he’ll have a public freak out and get banned sooner than later.

At least Johnson can serve as a middle inning mop up guy. Swihart has no defensive position and he is not a good enough hitter to give ABs.

Swihart has never been given a fair chance to play regularly. Its tough to play off and on again.

JBJ has to get back into the lineup at some point. If our OF defense falls to s*** then the entire defensive effort falls to s*** and we are going to be the Keystone Kops out there.

If they can get him to go to the opposite field, just stay on the ball and take controlled strokes going oppo, they might be able to his head to stop moving all over creation. I know it sounds absurd to so often say that the way to get a guy's swing back in shape almost no matter what the problem is to get him to start to go to the opposite field but it is the fastest way to cure so many problems at the plate. They just want JBJ to do enough with the bat to allow his glove to stay out there. They could do that much during the season.

Turning him into a real hitter might be a different story. But we just want him to do enough to put his glove out there.

Fair or not, there is no spot for him on this team. He is out of options. The only logical outcome that i see for him is a trade.

True, but I've always thought of him as the type of player who when given a half a chance, would show his worth. He's done it in the past a few times.

BS. He started more games at catcher in 2014 than anyone else. This year, I agree, but where is it written that a sub, a utility guy, is supposed to play regularly on any team?

Consider this simple rule. When a team is tied for the best freaking record in MLB while not playing one particularly guy regularly, maybe it's good idea to keep doing that.

He is literally just taking up a spot. Does not matter what he ever was....Cora won't play him. Not sure they are going to can Cora because he won't play Swihart.

There is a place for him since we have two catchers who have already proven that they cannot hit the baseball.

Apparently, the organization has made a conscious decision to keep him away fro a catcher's mitt.

So much vile for a team that's 28-12. I wonder what ORIOLES' TALK must be like?

Probably slightly more humane than Yankees talk

IMO BS is not the solution. We need to trade for a catcher who can hit decently. BS could be one of the pices involved for that trade.

Wonder what do we need to give up to land a guy like Salvador Perez.

Funny thing, but I don't think I've seen Porcello throw a lot of fast pitches tonight. Yet a guy hit .153 hits a slider off the left center field wall. I have to wonder if Porcello is telegraphing his pitches because this is now two games in a row he has been pummeled after being our best starter this year. This year, unlike last year, he has been good at keeping the ball low and avoiding fat pitches.

Two Porcellos yielded by rick tonight. That is not a good formula for success for him.

Both solo jobs. I’m actually ok with them. It was the 2 out 2 run double to lucroy that sticks in my craw....

What about Lucroy? I have heard that he is available.

The As seemed to look like world beaters against us. Skanks just took 2 out of 3 from them. I would be dissapointed if we lose a series at home to them.

Yeah or the guy who is catching in MIA. Out there are several options who can hit better than Leon and Vaz.

That is what I disagree with. Could he really be worse than the two guys we have now?
