Happy with the W but the starting pitching has to get better. I think we can agree that the astros's still the team to beat in the AL. They're the top dog. Guardians can be dangerous because of the pitching.

He's a pretty solid 5 1/3 guy and a real bargain.

He may not have the talent a guy like Pomeranz has, but Velazquez just knows how to pitch. I think the role he has now is perfect for him. Not sure I want him starting every fifth day. This is a better fit.

I agree. A spot start here or there is fine, but it's nice having a guy who can give you 2-3 innings every 2-3 days.
