Only to get one started before the game. Righty Gossett vs. Lefty Pom, edge to us.

1 Bogaerts SS

2 Pedey DH

3 Benintendi LF

4 Betts RF

5 Moreland 1b

6 Vazquez C

7 Devers 3b

8 Holt 2b

9 Bradley CF

5 lefty bats. Holt basically in for HanRam with Pedey moving to DH. Vazquez moved up to 6th, Devers staying at 7th. Once again, bottom third are all lefty bats.

Day game. Pom's chance to get the team back on track, but he will still need run support.

Last night Sox very aggressive at bat, often (for them) hitting the first pitch. But it didn't work well at all.

Win. Dance. Repeat. I'll be taking an economics test during this one.

I was just hoping you might give me some insight into the evolution of the market economy in the southern colonies. My contention is that prior to the Revolutionary War, the economic modalities, especially in the southern colonies, could be most aptly described as agrarian pre-capitalist.

Hey, it's a Boston movie with Boston actors (some of them)--which I have seen too many times (because I like it).

Well done, Slasher9!!

A mathematician, an accountant and an economist apply for the same job.

The interviewer calls in the mathematician and asks "What do two plus two equal?" The mathematician replies "Four." The interviewer asks "Four, exactly?" The mathematician looks at the interviewer incredulously and says "Yes, four, exactly."

Then the interviewer calls in the accountant and asks the same question "What do two plus two equal?" The accountant says "On average, four - give or take ten percent, but on average, four."

Then the interviewer calls in the economist and poses the same question "What do two plus two equal?" The economist gets up, locks the door, closes the shade, sits down next to the interviewer and says, "What do you want it to equal"?

An economist is someone who doesn't know what he's talking about - and make you feel it's your fault.

Good. We are going to aphorism those A's right into the ground. Well, probably not me.

This team seems to find a way to win every time Poms plays....... Feeling good about our chances today against the Athletics. Help us ignore whatever it was that happened yesterday.

btw - I would say Lowrie is extra focused and tries harder vs the Red Sox but apparently it is just random and players dont try harder or have extra focus at certain times....

Lowrie has a career .819 OPS against us so he does hit us pretty well.

But the question that arises is, wouldn't he have had a much better career if he focused against every team like he does against us?
