Or he may just be an airhead and we will be seeing these kind of boneheaded plays and misplays as long as he is here. What people are interpreting as a cool unflappable demeanor may just be an indicator that there isn't a lot going on above the shoulders.

I have no fear that he is a an airhead.

 

I just see that he does not make all the plays all that well. Maybe some of it is that he does not know what to do. Maybe it's just he does not have good instincts. Maybe some of it is that he has a lousy arm.

 

In any case, I do see a very talented athlete that I believe should get better at these things with more practice and game experience.

 

Overall, it's just fun to piss off all the Sox sycophants who see him as an outstanding player already.
