E-rod vs CC

Another lefty so I expect our lineup to be similar to the last couple days. I can see CY sitting for Moreland who has had a red hot hand.

Our BP is in great shape thanks to a fantastic start by big dik rik. Reed and kimbrel are rested. Probably no Kelly tonight.

I reminded E-rod to mixin offspeed pitches in the first couple innings tonight in order to avoid the early game earned runs. He will listen. CC has always been tough on us. Would love to see rajai start the game with a bunt.

Look for dirty sanchez to try and sucker punch someone.

Yesterday's results have really taken the pressure off us. We can go in loose with house money and crush their hopes.

Time to bury the skankees in the boogie down.

You have left me with little to add, for which I'm sure others are grateful. Love the guidance to ERod.

Our lineup did not hit the Jays 3 starters this week. We feasted on their bull pen and relied on our starters.

The Yankees may be struggling, but for the season they have almost as good pitching as the Sox and better hitting.

Well, this is the day I've been waiting for. UConn football season opener. I will be finding myself there tonight, amongst the student crazies, for the first, of many, occasions. Win. Dance. Repeat. x4

Yankees have a very good bull pen, however we have had success with them lately and a sweep against the Jays should get this team rolling a bit. This game will depend on how E-Rod plays tonight. Offense hasn't been spectacular lately so will obviously need some solid pitching today.

ERod is a huge key, agree. Yankees won more before the ASG, but we've won more since, also good (as you imply).

Fire Sale in Detroit.. Get Verlander Dave!

IMO the best thing that could be said about signing Verlander now is that it would keep the Yankees from getting him.

I just really feel bad for the Sox right now have to play in a city that smells like festering garbage and urine.

Seeing losing football every Saturday would drive me crazy too. ;)

I'm just really glad you didn't go to THE Ohio State University. Those fans are the worst.

As you predicted--

DAvis LF

Nunez 2b

Beni CF

Betts RF

Bogie SS

Devers 3b

HanRam 1b

Young DH

Vazquez C

12 days ago Sabathia beat us, 4-3, at Fenway, Sabathia going 6 and giving up 2. Devers and JBJ each had 2 hits and 1 rbi. Sale went7 and gave up 4. That Sox lineup had mostly tonight's guys except Davis now in for JBJ and Vazquez for Leon. Different slots too.

mlb.com says Pedey back tomorrow maybe and JBJ Saturday (first day eligible).

Above post does not mean I think history will repeat itself. Every game has a whole new dynamic. Porcello surprised last night, ERod could tonight.

I'm getting really sick of losing to the bloated corpse of formerly good pitcher CC Sabathia. It's like losing to Bartolo Colon or your drunken assistant HR director at a company pickup game. How the hell have this guy's ankles and knees not imploded yet?

^^This!

I'm getting really sick of losing to the Yankees, period.

It's time to stop letting them hang around, and time to put the nail in the coffin.

Get it done boys!

I will be rooting for Holy Cross.

A chance to bury the stankees even further. Would be nice to get a good pitching performance from Rodriguez.

Yes, his recovery period ends tonight. Time to shine.

Read a WEEI article today about how the Sox struggle hitting lefties. It was pretty obvious in the Toronto series. Have we scored a run off of Sabathia this year yet?

Boagarts is comically bad this year. Guess it'll make the decision of whether to resign him and deal with Boras, easier.

Another triggered Red Sox fan. Overreacts to every AB.
