No runs or RBIs from Nunez or Devers, and yet we pull one out.

Good to see others starting to come up big.

Shut down pen.

Bogey seemingly snapping out of it.

Betts finally looking like Betts.

Keep it up!

Stunning. First the dinger by Bogaerts, than a really great double Betts against a tough pitcher.

Unbelievable and pretty darn big, coming in mid-august and against the Cardinals.

Really liking this team. Great defense, good hitting, and best closer and starting pitcher in baseball. Pomeranz and Sale at Fenway this weekend. Let's bury the Yankees. Edited by BstHcpr

Listening to Joe Castiglione go ballistic never gets old. However, listening to Joe Castiglione keep mixing up Matheny and Molina gets very old very quickly.

Butterfield got bailed out though lol. Bradley was hosed by 10 feet.

No. That's a risk you take. If he's out, it's tied. No big deal. Can't assume he would've scored on the next AB

Yeah, from was another stupid send. But we all knew he was gong to send him and we got lucky it worked. Either way I liked our chances in extras. Cardinals used almost their whole pen in the 9th.

I don't remember typing that he shouldn't have sent him. I also don't remember typing that he shouldn't have sent him because Benintendi was going to knock him in automatically. I just said he got bailed out, because he's not well regarded on this forum.

How about JBJ's 254 foot throw to nail the "unsuspecting" Carpenter?

They say his throw was 96 mph.

Finding new ways to win.

Gotta love this team!

I've been ignoring these insults all night, but now I have one question: What did I ever do to you?

A question. Molina had the plate completely blocked. Is that legal, especially now when you can't run into the catcher? If is legal, a huge advantage to the catcher.

I'm just having fun. Wasn't trying to offend you. I'll lay off.

I've seen that play under review in a few other games. I've never seen them overturn the call. The umps probably don't know either.

I agree. He should have been gunned down by a mile. I would have held him...

I don't think he was blocking the plate on the play. I could be wrong. He seemed infront of the plate and JBJ tried to slide around the tag, that had no ball in the glove.

Oh f*** that is some funny s***.

SC30 posts some really weird/f***ed up s***, but the dude does have some of the funnier posts in game threads.

Where does this rank in terms of best comebacks of the season so far? I'm putting it 3rd. I have to put Devers HR off Chapman as #1, and the walk off against Guardians as #2.

Worth it. My roommate lives about an hour north of NYC, so he'll love my dancing outfielders poster

Put a blown-up copy of this up.

I think the walk off against Guardians has to be #1. The fact Christian Vazquez of all people hit the walk off bomb, makes it all the more crazy.

But I agree. this is #3.

That walk off against the Yankees where they made all the errors in the 9th was pretty crazy too.
