Aaron Judge looks like Bruce Banner got stuck halfway in his transformation to The Hulk.

To get away from this discussion about Judge's appearance for a bit if I may... :D... it seems that his weakness - the high fastball - has been exposed. I'm now wondering if he may be "too big" to be able to catch up with that pitch. Judge has to be able to get those long arms moving in time to bring the bat up and inside to hit that pitch, which isn't an easy thing to do. With pitches now approaching 100+ mph he may not be able to get to the high and tight pitch, or even the high one from the elite pitchers. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking. LOL

i have not seen him get too a good high riding fastball. That is his weakness at this juncture. We will see if he can make an adjustment.

He can't catch up to them regardless of velocity. It's in his head now.

That's what they do in the Majors, find a weakness, keep attacking it, until you adjust. The difference is good hitters, adjust quickly, and use it to their advantage. All kids go through this, growing process. Its the Fans that have to be patient. He'll adjust.

I would think adjusting to high fastballs is one of the easier pitches to adjust to.

Those who have trouble with sinkers down and away always seem to have that issue come and go for longer periods of time.

Even Papi went through stretches later in his career where he looked totally helpless against that pitch.

Consistently being thrown high fastballs seems to be a "new thing", and perhaps that's one reason we are seeing many more HRs this year.

Judge is a special case because he's so tall and his arms is so long. Richie Sexson had a hard time but adjusted, and so will he. He'll be fine, but let's enjoy his slump for now.

Like Sexson, he will continue to strike out a lot.

Say what you want about ESPN, and SNB, but I love everything about it. Dan Shulman is a blessing, Mendoza is more than just a pretty face, and Boone is probably the lease biased person at ESPN. Win. Dance. Repeat. x2

Ah the innocence of youth.

Aaron Boone not biased? He's AWFUL. Mendoza is just average at best.

JF over thinking again. Leave the kid there and forget about it. Holt isn't the same player since the DL stint..
