I hate the shift with 2 strikes. If the guys are in their normal positions, that was a double play ball. I don't blame Barnes on that. He destroyed him in that AB and he was lucky to make contact. We had our guys positioned wrong.

The inning started with an error and then we got a DP ball from there slow-footed catcher but we are over shifting on him with no one on the right side of the infield.

Once again a simple mental mistake by Barnes not backing up the C on a scoring play results in runners on 2nd and 3rd.. Plays like these where Farrell has to held accountable.

Barnes should have never have been the setup guy. Have to blame Dombrowski for 2 whiffs on setup guys he acquired.
