A guy like Hanley needs the base coach talking to him all the time. It is not an excuse that he is an air head. All the more reason to ride his ass when he is on base. Butterworth should have had both hands up screaming hold 2 hold 2.

 

I agree. But I can't tell you if Butter was or wasn't telling him to stop. We've also seen Hanley disregard signals also. I just think Hanley is such a lost cause and is uncoachable....

Pablow can't play the position anymore. I can run faster than VMart. There is no way that he should get an infield hit on that ball. It takes Pablow forever to throw the ball. The guy sucks. That should have been charged as an error.

 

Pablo either bobbles the ball, or makes a what looks like a great grab due to his s*** range...... then throws it away...... I'm done with Pablo.....

Is there on going evaluation on line about how a coach is coaching the team? I know that's almost impossible to evaluate. But, is baserunning gaffs and blunders somehow measured during the season?

And he wants Moustakas. That is the guy that I want. He is a very solid fielder. For my money, he was the best fielder on the KC championship team.

More stupid base running making the first out at 3B. These out on the bases are rally killers and we are hurting for runs. Xander would have been safe at 2B earlier in the game if he had slid instead of tip toeing to the bag. Coaching!

 

True but on that one he was trying to get hit with the throw. Pretty standard to try and get in the way of a throw from first or at least make it a tougher throw. Not in the same league as Hanley's really dumb play.
