Speier is the man, and I don't care what anyone says.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck with the Os annoying announcers, but I enjoy listening to Speier. Also, he has the cool geeky glasses.

He is the man.

I'm still ticked about Kendrick allowing Machado to hit a 3 run HR off of him. Of all the people.

This game really stinks.

I don't get why this guy was even signed, I understand we need depth but Kendrick is a past his prime s***** pitcher, what is the fascination with signing these guys every year?

The Sox have a tradition of what a700 calls "Dumpster Diving" for pitching. This usually involves signing pitchers that have sucked in recent years but are cheap.

Not to be confused with low risk-high reward types.

Or even Ryan Dempster!:P

That would be "Dempster Diving".

It's all explained thoroughly in the Talksox glossary.

Most people were saying walk Machado, not to take out Kendrick.. Kendrick does suck though, thats not a debate. He has a proven track record of suck.

Hence Dumpster Diving!!!!

Most teams go dumpster diving for their depth pitchers and players. The players that are good enough not to be dumpster dives are starters on other teams.

Speier is my kind of guy. There's nothing wrong with a baseball dweeb.

I was hoping you would not take the bait!!!

He does seem to know his stuff but he is very awkward in the booth when the camera is on.

He reminds me of the kid in the neighborhood that had all the cool Matchbox cars but would never let you play with them. A Dweeb or Mama's boy.

It really shows how bad our team is at developing young pitchers that guys like Kendrick and Sean O'Sullivan are being given looks over any of our young guys.

A 200 million dollar payroll and they still can't resist picking through the garbage.

Bradley is hitting like he did in 2014. Maybe Young should get a little more PT.

I like him ,but he's done nothing with the bat. I can also say that with half of this lineup.

Your team isn't playing up to what it's capable of, but you're still 2 games over .500 in early May and only 4 games back in the L column of first place. If this is truly your bad stretch, then you're in a pretty good spot

Let Workman have the start the next time through the rotation.

He hasn't started a game in forever. He'd have to be streched out first unless you only want him going 3 innings. He was out last year for TJS. It doesn't make sense to just have him start a game for the heck of it.

He threw around 50 pitches last night. Stretch him to 75 pitches the next time out. That could get him through 4+ innings which is probably better than what Kendrick would get us
