What are the odds that all 10 of the worldwide JBJ supporters are right here on this forum??!!!

*raises hand*

Also, this is me lodging my annual objection to this thread that JBJ is awesome in his own right and does not need to be constantly compared to Ellsbury to be appreciated.

I really liked Ellsbury and was sad to see him go. JBJ has made me not miss Ellsbury in the least.

4/10 right here.

my go to JBj quote over the past 3 years: "JBj could get 1 single every 10 AB's and I still start him in CF every game."

Well, he makes a super catch once in awhile, and leads the post-game victory dance! And in comparison to Leon and Sandoval, he's a super star. Of the 15 players listed in the stats columns reveal that only 6 are hitting better than .250. But, .226 is rediculous.

You know, I really liked Ellsbury and I was rather fond of my ex. But JBJ has some awesome skills, and I really don't spend much time these days worrying about how my ex is doing in the sack.

His hitting flaws are obvious but I know he really wants to improve. The time to improve was in the off season to correct his approach that results in infrequent contact. His past performances show that he can be a very important hitter for the team. So what is going on between Chili Davis and JBJ. Davis is a professional hitting coach and must see the flaws and try to help. I can only conclude JBJ does not listen and learn.
