It's really sad that the only real NL Playoff race is the NL Central. Unless the Cubs blow it, the playoff teams are set before we even reach September. On the bright side, at least AJ Pollock will be getting his first taste of October baseball. Can't wait to watch him (and the Sox, hopefully)

There's 3 other teams with 68+ wins plus the Cubs. There's no easy first round match-up.

 

Then, they'll have to go through the Sox!

I would have no problem with the Dodgers winning it all if the Red Sox don't.

Their incredible record right now by no means guarantees them anything in the playoffs. They could be swept out in the first round.

Josh Harrison hits a walk off HR to lead off the 10th, breaking up the no-no. Just cleared the short porch in LF. Wouldn't be a HR anywhere else. Might have scraped the wall at Fenway.

As great as their system is in finding pitching gems, they sure don't know how to keep them healthy.
