Get a man or two on, we could see Papi and Shae back to back next inning. Vasquez is on the bench so whu is Halliday in there anyway!

I agree, Halliday gives you nothing on offense.

And I did not blame those things on the manager. Those things do not erase the poor coaching. His team was not ready for the bunt the second time around.

What ready? It was a great bunt. The only way to stop it is to bring the infield in.

Or put one up and in so he can't bunt. Everything is under a microscope again because we have fallen asleep on offense.

Farrell forgot that he has 3 catchers and extra pinch hitters. Let Haliday look foolish all day at the plate.

Holaday ain't the problem and you know it. Besides, he's caught Pomeranz before and Vazquez hasn't. Nor Hanigan. Nor Swihart.

HanRam was the guy who struck out on 3 pitches with men on 1st and 2d.

Maybe we can blame Farrell for putting in Kimbrel for the 9 th yesterday in a tie game on the road. But you can't blame him for the other run- less 15 innings lol. I'm on the manager a little bit.

But Jankowski didn't score a run despite the two bunt singles, both of which were excellent.

Tut tut tut with your feeble excuses.

Not feeble at all. Those bunts are not easy to do--no one on this Sox team could do anything remotely like it.

Here comes the pen. Oh boy. Pomeranz reminds me of dice k so much. He can't get past 6

Lester was also a high pitch count guy in his early days. Let's hope Pomeranz is more like Lester than Dice-K.

You are by yourself thinking Kimbrel shouldn't have pitched the 9th yesterday.

I think you take 6 innings and 2 runs everytime. He's had No run support in his last handful of starts.

The complaints about the pitching and/or defense in this game are laughable. This is two straight with 0 runs scored--and heading into the 7th.

OK. Betts gets a lead off single. A hit from HanRAm would be nice, but I just hope for no GIDP. All right! HanRam single! Edited by Maxbialystock

Not true Max. You can't have walk off wins on the road. It's knit picking I'll say that.

Sox have 4 hits, all singles, in 7 innings. Moncada K's with a man on 3B to end the top of the 7th.

So, yes, Holaday can't hit. But there are 7 other guys in the lineup who aren't exactly making a difference. And let's not forget getting shutting out at Oakland yesterday with Ortiz, Leon, et al, in the lineup.

I don't follow. Yes, Kimbrel couldn't get a save yesterday, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't have pitched.

Yep....this Sox team runs up score and offensive stats on mediocre pitching......our offense is overrated because we play in AL East park. They can't hit good pitching.
