I was listening to sports radio a little while ago. Rob Bradford says the Redsox are his number 1 choice. But do they want him... 50/50.

if he accepts a setup role, we could use another arm. I'd give him a shot.

Most here will know that I have been critical of Buch for over two years.

However, old habits are hard to shake. So I am pulling for the f***ing lunkhead once again.

GO SOX!!11!!1!

I'd consider it. I don't know his current pay and performance but I'd give it some thought. His history of good performance would be enough to consider it especially with the way our pen is performing.

He's IMO a 6/7 bridge man to give the up and down Taz some rest. If Wright can't pitch Thursday against DET, and they leave CB in the rotation, he's worth a look. What does this say about Joe Kelly. On a side note ,they say CB is on a estimated 75 pitch count tonight.

If they released him outright, it is my understanding that any team that signs him would be responsible only to pay a prorated portion of the league minimum salary. That is worth the shot.

Well I don't know you. I was brought up on the Boston.Com board, so I posted stuff about the Pats, Bruins, but the place shut down. I wanted to post on pro boards but I didn't know they had a redsox site, because I only go on there for pats.

I then wanted to post Sox I've followed them all my life. It was SOSH or this. I then looked at this board and saw Moon and JBAY. I don't agree with Moon on the TB stuff, but his baseball points are rock solid. I looked for sox boards and found this. My friends said use a new name . I was the Stinkman, but since WB got his number retired and is one of my all time fav Sox players I used his name. So like I said if you hate CB, who cares. But your going to need him tonight. I'm going to the game on Sunday, 2-0 sounds better than 1-1. Right?

Paps? He's no longer a decent closer like some posters have stated on here. If he wants a diminished role, I'd take him and I'm not a fan of his. Didn't he talk s*** on Boston after leaving?

FAHCK YOU!

"The difference, I would say, between Boston and Philadelphia, is that, you know, I think that the Boston fans are a little bit more hysterical when it comes to the game of baseball,” Papelbon said after leaving Boston as a free agent. “I’d say the Philly fans, I think they tend to know the game a little bit better, being in the National League, the way the game is played.”

@jared_carabis To everyone saying Papelbon can't be worse than what the Red Sox already have, he'd have the highest ERA and WHIP in the Red Sox bullpen.

While we're on the subject, m'boy Mooky looked "tentative', or maybe tired, last night. His first 2 at bats he watch 90 mph first pitch fastballs slide on by, dead center, with a nore saying, HIT ME! That's what he was doing when he was hitting .270. If he doesn't "return" tonight, I'd have him over to Mass General first thing tomorrow. Edited by bosoxmal

Well since he's hitting 3 rd. I hope his mindset is starting to swing for the fence mode, I would have left him in the leadoff spot. But i am not the manager.
