This is low.

Good god, i'd never get anything done if I worried about possibly offending someone with something I say/write. I'm a fan, I'm going to make some brash comments. If someone gets offended, too f***ing bad. Get thicker skin.

Thank you, needed to be said

This team just doesn't look like a playoff team yet blue jays and orioles lose their games at times.

This team would get embarrassed with a 1st round exit. Beside Porcello, who the hell you trust?

I believe that the point was to be insensitive, and there is nothing wrong with that. You were telling the guy to get lost because he sucks. You did not insult his ethnicity or anything like that. You told him that you wanted him to go home. Home in his case is Japan. LOL!!! PC weenies.

If Dombrowski fires Farrell the team could have a shot at the playoffs. There's something in that guy, i don't know...

It is what is not in the guy == the same thing that the strawman didn't have.

This team has played lousy at home despite the winning record. Still got another west coast trip. Alot of road games left. They have to win at home!

Agree.

Wright's pinch-running adventure not only costs us at least one start from him, but it also meant that our one effective reliever tonight, Buchholz, could only throw a few pitches.

Do we have a scouting system any more? Every new pitching re-tread we bring in is as bad as the last guy. We needed a left fielder and bingo, there's a new phenom waiting for his chance. We need a new catcher, and what do you know. here's a guy who can hit (a switch hitter, no less)! But half the bullpen would get knocked around in Portland. Why can't we find 3 or 4 real good flame throwers for the bull pen?-

And it's bad enough having a bull pen full of guys who can't pitch, but we have a manager who shouldn't be on the bench. I was shocked when he took Buch out after one batter. A couple of pitches and it's out No. 3. So why take him out? Saturday's a long way off!

One day's the pitching, another the hitting. Sometimes the defense, a few times bad luck. The only constant: pea brained Farrell.

Well, I don't think that was an excuse. eRod had aleady been named for Thursday, and Buch was set for Saturday. That's three days away. He sure doesn't need th rest; he's been pitching about 3 innings a week. Seems to me he needs the work, not the rest. I would have left him in until he showed he didn't have it. Right to the end.

Farrell's just pushing all the wrong buttons.

Oh f*** it, I think this team does need to be shaken up. Can Farrell and the entire pitching staff, minors included, pitching scouts, etc. Just start from scratch. Hell, they could do 1-series auditions with new managers for all I care at this point. Can't be any worse, and it would at least be entertaining...

Beautiful game, marvelous. I'm sure Farrell is thrilled. That's the best stuff his bullpen has had for a while. A little wild yes, a mistake here and there but their stuff was out of this world. I'm sure the press will love that statement...

Does Curt Schilling have any interest in coaching... :P Ok, i kid... kind of...

Say what you want, but in the big games, he wanted the ball and generally came through. This pitching staff could use a little of that mentality.

I blame Blanton. As I wrote the other day, I thought it was part of the pitchers' fraternity rules that you don't do stuff like that to other pitchers.
