He probably could have gone deeper, and may have even escaped the inning unscathed. Not that I'm saying Farrell made the wrong call (I was okay with him pulling ERod, but I would have been okay with Farrell leaving him in the game also), just saying that I am pleased with ERod's performance. Any loss is disappointing, but that is a positive we can take from this game.

that 9th inning has been played out about 5-6 times in a key situation this season. I think they fail to score in most if not all bases no out just like that.

I think I heard Remy say we have had two walk offs this year. I'd like to know the number of attempts that failed. Anybody know?

 

Actually I'm more concerned with Mookie's knee than either Erod or the 9th inning!

 

Re/Erod, I don't see as much as I had hoped to see.

Disappointing loss. After we got the first two on, I was sure we would be walking off. It wasn't meant to be.

 

As much as we all would love it, it's very tough to sweep any team in a 4 game series. As you said, we need the next 2. Price and Porcello will shut them down.

 

I am sure Porcello will shut them down; not sure about Price. If things go as planned Price should expect no offense tonight. Plus we are going up against another tough 5.00 ERA pitcher.
