Santiago 4-4/ 5.27 ERA

 

Inconsistency has continued to plague Santiago this season. After back-to-back starts with six or more innings and one run allowed, he served up six runs to the Athletics on Sunday. He’s given up 17 homers, including back-to-back blasts on Sunday.

 

 

Buchholz 3-8 / 5.90 ERA

 

Buchholz’s biggest problem in his two starts since returning to the rotation is the first inning. He has settled down nicely in the middle frames. Lifetime against the Angels, the righty is 6-4 with a 4.83 ERA in 12 starts.

 

 

This game has all the makings of a great pitcher's duel.

If my memory serves me correctly Clay wasn't horrible his last start. He had a bad first inning but was pretty solid after that.... maybe he has a good game today??? I dunno....

How many more chances does this dipshit get? He's made 13 starts and 3 of them are quality. I know a lot of the other options suck, but he's proven has not making any progress. He sucks.
