Move the Rays to Montreal.

Price vs Moore

f***ing win this goddamn series!

Yes. Then the Sox can unload Pablo on the Rays while eating his entire contract.

It would be worth it so we could witness Pablo consuming all the poutine in Quebec.

GO SOX!!!!!!1!!!

I wonder what Mookie would be hitting (.320-.330?) if he hammered some of those first pitch cookies they are feeding him. Fastball down the middle, or dinky curves that bend of the middle of the plate. The psche is as old as baseball. See a pitch or two. Don't make an easy out for the pitcher on the first pitch. How about getting into the picher's pschy with a line shot into the gap or 2 or 3 bases?

IMHO, they only way get Mookie more aggressive is get him the hell out of the leadoff spot!!!! He's an RBI hitter, hitting behind a .210 hitter. I can think of a dozen good lineups that have him 3rd, 5th or 6th. It's infuriating to see this guy wasted taking strike one because that's the way lead off hitters are supposed to do it!

This is going to be a low scoring game when a ball two feet off the plate gets called a strike.

Where is that 30 million a year pitcher we acquired this year?

Team's a flat out joke. Disgusted with price. I thought he would come out and pitch better after his embarrassing performance.

Lunch hour over. Venice Cafe (etc) emptying out, but the faithful do not go skipping happily back to work. A long afternoon awaits.

I were JF, I'd have JBJ on the bench for the rest of the game. Maybe a small, non-public, fine to boot.

What good is that going to do? Yes, that was stupid to run into an out at third. But, that's an overreaction.

If Gamecast is at all accurate, Price is not getting the same strike zone that Moore is.

Ah yes, the wonders of baseball! The strike zone is like a box of chocolates, you know...

I don't think they can fine him like that any more. In the old days, the players' kangaroo court would have taken care of it, but I haven't heard of that in years.

What happened to the mechanical adjustment that Price made? That has been gone for a while.

That is what I have been wondering. Doesn't this bozo coaching staff of ours know that in order to correct motor memory problems one has to keep repeating the new process to eventually eliminate regression. That is what has done; regressed back to the old bad habits.
